Q2 Yuma Qualifier: Inspiring leader

Jared Shuter, forward for 8u Prescott Storm, leads by example

An inspiring player is not merely defined by how they succeed when all is going well around them. They are most often defined by how they deal with and overcome adversity. Such was the case with Jared Shuter of the Prescott Storm. After losing their first game of the season to the Yuma Blaze in round-robin play, the Storm made it back to the championship game. But this time, Jared and his team threw away the previous defeat, wiped away any apprehension and Jared led his team to victory against the very tough Yuma Blaze 6-2 with an inspiring 5 goal performance. Jared did not let adversity defeat him, rather, he let perserverence define him.
